Laser hair removal usually takes more than one session and are done 4-5 weeks apart.  Hair growth happens in three phases and for best results, I want to make sure we get the hair growth in all 3 phases.  

Contraindications for hair removal by intense pulse light:

*Recent sun exposure

*Pregnancy/Nursing

*History of seizures

*Use of retinoids, tretinoin or other acne medications 

*Herpes Simplex

*Use of Acutane in the last 6 months

*History of keloid scarring

*Darker skin people

*Use of photosensitizing medications
